2015-10-17: All sorts of cool things happened in football games today, instead I watched VT suck

Game 1: West Virginia vs Baylor

Significance:   Baylor is really good on offense, that’s why I keep watching them.  They could go far if they’d just schedule real opponents for the non-conference schedule.

Game 2: Virginia Tech vs Miami

Significance:   Virginia Tech played like a flaming pile of fail today.  Again.  Moving towards the ass end of the ACC

Game 3: Clemson vs Boston College

Significance:   Some more saturday ACCtion, Clemson looks to be the probably ACC winner and hopeful playoff entrant.

Game 4:  Arizona State vs Utah

Significance:   Utah is currently one of the top teams in the country, lets see how they do this week.

Days in a row: 10

Total games: 64

Food:  Coors light

2015-10-15: Thursday night doubleheader

Kickball team lost unsurprisingly.  Good news is a rare Thursday night double header thanks to a west coast college game.

Game 1:  Atlanta vs New Orleans (NFL)

Significance:   We find out that Atlanta is not as good as their record indicates.  Also, Sunday’s football schedule won’t be miserable.

Game 2:  Stanford vs UCLA(NCAA-IA)

Significance:   Didn’t make it all the way through this match up of ranked teams, 10:30 pm kickoff will do that to you.

Days in a row: 8

Total games: 59

Food:  Rice and beans and broccoli.

2015-10-12: Monday night heartbreak for drjohn

Game 1:  Pittsburgh vs San Diego

Significance:   The majority of shitdrjohnsponsors’ offense was playing in this game.  I went in down 63 points with Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, Antonio Gates and Keenan Allen.  After the dust cleared, I lost by 1.3 points. SADFACE.

Days in a row: 5

Total games: 56

Hokie count-

Pittsburgh:  Mike Vick

San Diego:  Brandon “Beats Flankers” Flowers

Food:  Chips and queso and guacamole

2015-10-11: I didn’t watch the Bills, just in case I’m bad luck for Tyrod Taylor

Here’s what I watched instead

Game 1:  The team from Washington vs Atlanta

Significance:   The bane of living in Atlanta – falcons games.  At least they’re doing well this year.

Game 2:  Dallas vs New England

Significance:  Aside from my need for Dion Lewis to score a ton of points I’d be pretty content to have this game be 0-0.

Game 3:  New York Giants vs San Francisco

Significance:  I really, really, really need Odell Beckham Jr to kick some ass in this game.  shitdrjohnsponsors is getting crushed this week because of some bad luck on my part and great luck on my opponents behalf.

Days in a row: 4

Total games: 55

Hokie count-

The team from Washington- James Gayle, DeAngelo Hall, Kyshoen Jarret

New York Giants- Jayron Hosley

Others- losers.

Food:  Comped dinner from mcdonalds.  Got an extra portion of surliness from the staff as an added bonus.  Note that that was independent of me receiving a free meal.  That was because the previous (and as far as I’m concerned, second to last trip to this mcdonalds) they botched all aspects of my meal.
